DENTAL IMPLANTS

Discover how dental implants can enhance your quality of life by providing a solid foundation for missing teeth. At Hospitravel, we take pride in delivering cutting-edge dental care with a focus on your overall oral health.

Initial Consultation

The process begins with a consultation with a Hospitravel dental implant specialist. During this appointment, the dentist will assess your oral health, discuss your medical history, and determine if you're a suitable candidate for dental implants.

Treatment Planning

If you're deemed eligible for dental implants, the next step involves creating a personalized treatment plan. This plan will consider factors such as the number of implants needed, the condition of your jawbone, and any other dental procedures required.

Bone Grafting
(if necessary)

In some cases, patients may require bone grafting procedures to ensure there is enough bone to support the implant. This step may involve transplanting bone tissue from another part of your body or using synthetic materials.

Implant Placement

Once the treatment plan is finalized, the dental implant surgery can take place. During this procedure, the dentist will surgically place the implant into the jawbone beneath the gum line. The implant serves as a replacement for the tooth root.

Healing Period (Osseointegration)

After implant placement, a healing period is necessary to allow the implant to integrate with the surrounding bone tissue. This process, known as osseointegration, typically takes several months.

Abutment Placement

Once osseointegration is complete, a small connector piece called an abutment is attached to the implant. The abutment protrudes above the gum line and serves as the attachment point for the final restoration.

Final Restoration

Finally, a custom-made dental crown, bridge, or denture is attached to the abutment to replace the missing tooth or teeth. The restoration is designed to match the color, shape, and size of your natural teeth, providing a seamless and functional result.

Follow-up Care

After the completion of the dental implant process, regular follow-up appointments are necessary to monitor the implant's stability and overall oral health. Good oral hygiene practices, including daily brushing and flossing, are essential for maintaining the longevity of the implant
